NY Regional Activities for Practitioners and Trainees was updated January 25, 2010

NY Region sponsored activities:

• The 2010 NY Region Conference will be held on Feb. 6 2010 at Subud.
• Please help us to get the word out about the New York Region Feldenkrais® Clinic. As practitioners, many of you are contacted by prospective clients who would like to take advantage of FI lessons but may not be able to afford your regular fee, or they find that travel to your particular location is not convenient. Please let these people know about the Clinic. The New York Region Feldenkrais® Clinic is working to make the clinic clientele as varied as possible so that participating practitioners get experience working with a wide range of people and issues. And, by the way, all Guild members are welcome to participate in the Clinic and take advantage of the opportunity to get feedback on their lessons. We also have postcards about the Clinic that we can send to you if you are interested in displaying them or putting them out in local venues. With the winter months upon us and snow and ice making the sidewalks treacherous, we include this excerpt of an article on the use of the Feldenkrais Method to improve balance and prevent falls. Thursday evening appointments are available starting this week January 28th through March 25, 2010.
